Corporate Officers

Mr. John Stanley, Founder, CEO and Chairman of the Board, grew up in Glen Rock, New Jersey and attended Ridgewood High School, graduated from Lehigh University, Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, in 1959, with a B.S. from the school of Business and Economics. His major was marketing with a minor in Chemical Engineering and he was a two-way starter on the 1957 Lambert Cup football team.  
From 1960-61 he served as an R.O.T.C. commissioned officer in the US Army at Fort Benning, Georgia and Fort Dix, New Jersey.
In 1962 he went to work for North American Machinery Corporation designing and marketing urethane foam manufacturing equipment. He was responsible for turn-key operations and installations throughout the world.
He left in 1965 as a Vice President and went to work for Modigliani Company of New Jersey. For two years he developed processes for reinforcing cellular plastics, with spun glass fibers. Most of the company's activities were in the United States and Italy.
In 1967 he took over as the Assistant General Manager of Drico Manufacturing, a manufacturer of spun glass air filters, where he was directly responsible for manufacturing and new product development.
In 1968 Mr. Stanley developed a revolutionary new air filter utilizing graduated density synthetic fibers, instead of the traditional spun glass fibers used during that time period. After presenting this new product to Drico, who showed no interest in developing synthetic air filter products, Mr. Stanley then started Tri-Dim Filter Corporation. His new company was based around an advanced tri-dimensional synthetic filter media which he further developed in conjunction with E.I. DuPont.
Mr. Stanley was named the 1983 New Jersey Small Business Person of the Year and serves on Boards and Committees with various Missions agencies. He is an active leader in local church activities and enjoys golf, tennis, skiing and being a grandfather. He currently resides in Wyckoff, New Jersey.

 

 

Mr. Darren Hernandez, President, Chief Operating and Chief Financial Officer, graduated from Lehigh University in 1982 with degrees in Marketing, Finance and Psychology. He grew up in Goshen, New York where he played football and in 1988 was inducted into his high school football Hall of Fame. After graduating from Lehigh University, Bethlehem, PA., Darren went to work for Armstrong World Industries, in their Commercial Ceilings Division, as a sales representative. He worked in Albuquerque, NM and San Francisco, CA before being hired by Keener Manufacturing, a commercial printing company located in Lancaster, PA, in 1985. At Keener Darren began as their National Sales Manager and was then promoted to General Manager. In 1989 John Stanley, who was in the process of re-purchasing Tri-Dim Filter from Whatman, contacted Darren and he agreed to leave Keener in order to assist in the turnaround of Tri-Dim. He began as the Assistant to the President, moved into the position of Vice President of Sales and Marketing, then to Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer and is now serving as the President, COO and CFO. He is also the corporate Secretary and Treasurer.

Darren lives in New Jersey with his wife Sharon and their three children. He also serves in his local church as an elder and coaches Little League baseball and Pop Warner football. He participates in many different sports activities, but particularly enjoys skiing.

 

 

Mr. William LoFiego, Executive Vice President and Chief Manufacturing Officer, graduated from California State University, Northridge in 1973 with a Bachelor of Arts degree and subsequently attended Law School at Southwestern. Bill worked for Whittaker Corporation from 1965 to 1975 in various management positions in the areas of quality control, research and development and production. From 1976 to 1985 he held department and executive positions in production and materials management in two other nationally based corporations (R&G Sloane, plastic pipe and fittings and Allegretti & Co., power garden tools). In 1986 Bill was involved in a clean room design and manufacturing business (Integrated Air Systems) where he met John Stanley. Soon thereafter, he joined Tri-Dim to manage their operations. Current responsibilities include corporate manufacturing and distribution. Mr. LoFiego and his wife, Joyce, reside in Charlottesville, Virginia and have four children and eight grandchildren. In addition to being appointed to a number of State Business Advisory Councils, Bill is active in local civic affairs and has held various elected positions that include the Economic Development Authority and the School Board.

 

 

Mr. Mark King, Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing, graduated from Virginia Tech in 1982 with a Bachelors Degree in Marketing Management. Upon graduation he joined American Air Filter Corporation in a sales capacity. He was published at AAF and received numerous awards. Mark was promoted to branch manager with responsibilities in Virginia and the D.C./Maryland market. In 1989 Mark left AAF to join Tri-Dim Filter Corporation as Southern Regional Manager. Mark was soon promoted to Vice President of Sales and Marketing to develop sales through a distribution network, consisting of direct employees as well as a strong independent distribution network. In 2002 Mark was promoted to Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Tri-Dim with the added responsibility of overseeing the expansive Research and Development Department. Mark has an encouraging vision for Tri-Dim's future as a complete indoor air quality company emphasizing innovative product, IAQ testing and sampling as well as an extensive service and remediation department.

Mark was married in 1987 to his wife Christine. Together they have four children. They reside in Charlottesville, Virginia. Mark is a committed Christian and enjoys various outdoor activities with his family.
